We are forever grateful for all the the love and support our community gives us, so we’re returning the favor. Check out some of our community programs below!
Community Food Pantry
Every day, we sort and bag food that can be picked up at our shelter by anyone who needs help feeding their pet – dogs and cats! We are always taking donations to keep our pantry stocked and support our community as much as we can.
Community Assisted Spay & Neuter
Every dog that comes out of our shelter is spayed or neutered for the health of the animal and the benefit of the community. We recognize that this surgery carries a one-time cost that while best for the animal, can be difficult with a limited income. In these cases, we can sometimes offer financial support to help off set some of the cost. Give us a call to find out more!
Frankee’s Fund
We understand that dogs are family members. We know that emergencies and injuries happen. These unexpected events can be difficult with a limited income. In these cases, we can sometimes offer financial support to help off set some of the cost. Give us a call to find out more!
Gorge Community Fund
If you’d like to give a sustainable gift, please consider donating in our name to the Gorge Community Fund. Your donation will be added to a fund allotted to HRAAD that will grow over time. Each year, a small portion of the interest is given back to us to support our mission. You can find more information on the fund here.
