Yay! You have adopted a new family member. Now what?
Hood River Adopt A Dog (HRAAD) helps dogs make the transition from our shelter into your home fun and easy!
Perks of adopting from HRAAD:
- Our dogs are all current on their vaccinations
- HRAAD dogs are micro-chipped and will be registered with 24 PetWatch with your contact information
- Your new dog’s first post adoption vet exam is FREE at participating veterinary offices. You must call ahead to schedule an appointment within ten days of adopting your dog
In your adoption packet you will receive:
- HRAAD car seat belt, collar, and leash
- Certificate for discounts at Gorge Dog in downtown Hood River
- Free Food – Every dog goes home with a free 5 lb bag of Science Diet food to get your pet off to a healthy start
