We are staffed by a small dedicated and skilled team and supported by a group of wonderful volunteers. Our work would not be possible without generous donations from people like you.
Hood River Adopt A Dog is a 501(c)3 non profit organization. All donations are tax deductible to the extent allowable by law.
Volunteer
We rely on volunteers to keep the shelter running smoothly. We offer a variety of volunteer options for adults, youths, groups and more. We strive to ensure a safe and healthy volunteering environment for you, and want to make sure you are volunteering in a capacity that is comfortable for you.
Foster a Dog
Hood River Adopt a Dog (HRAAD) needs people who can offer our adoptable dogs temporary homes while we work to find them permanent ones. No matter how hard our staff and volunteers work to provide excellent care in the shelter, it can’t compare to living in a loving home environment.
Become a Board Member
Board members serve as a member of the Hood River Adopt A Dog (HRAAD) Board of Directors that collaboratively oversees the strategic activities of the Adopt A Dog organization. The Board is responsible for exercising the powers, duties and responsibilities determined by the organization’s bylaws.
