Volunteer

Thanks for your interest in volunteering with Hood River Adopt A Dog!

Our current option for volunteering is walking dogs at the shelter. Volunteers are trained to take dogs on a “sniffari” style walk, which allows the dog to guide the way and de-stress, and is fun for both humans and dogs!

Due to the investment that training volunteers requires, we ask that you commit to walking dogs for 2 shifts per month for a minimum of 3 months.

You must be at least 16 years old to volunteer.

Hood River Adopt A Dog is a 501(c)3 non profit organization. All donations are tax deductible to the extent allowable by law.

Apply to be a volunteer.
